The write practise: Personalising inanimate objects

There he stood. Her best friend. He was warm and cuddly and his little eyes evoked such emotion even after all these years. They had travelled the world together. He was never far. Catching tears at night and bringing as much comfort to her as any human could. She knew he would be around for a very long time yet. She would introduce him to her children someday soon. She smiled at the thought. This was her blue and yellow pet dragon Mulan. The stuffed animal she just couldn’t part from. The toy given to her by her best friend in high school. The dragon had become her best friends replacement after he had stopped contacting her. She held onto Mulan the way she would have held on to him and with all her might she believed, somehow her dragon, knew it.
